TAKE ACTION AT ONE OF THE EVENTS BELOW:

1) PRESIDENT OBAMA CALL-IN DAY, JANUARY 25

President Obama’s so-called “clean energy” plan calls for the rapid expansion of domestic production of natural gas and oil through drilling and fracking. Right now, President Obama is also facing several key decisions about natural gas exports and whether to open additional federal lands and protected areas to fracking. As we lead up to the annual State of the Union Address, tell President Obama that it’s time to pursue a clean energy future and reject policies that facilitate fracking and drilling for oil and natural gas. What do to:
 

A) On January 25, call President Obama at 1-888-660-2594 and tell him: “fracking threatens the air we breathe, the water we drink, the communities we love and the climate on which we all depend. Don’t pursue policies that promote fracking and the export of natural gas. We need to ban fracking now!”

B) Invite your friends to join this Facebook event and make sure that they call President Obama on January 25.

C) Go virtual. Post this image to your Facebook page and encourage your friends to share it widely.

D) Help spread the word! Download the editable event flier and share it with members of your community.

 

2) PROMISED LAND:  A WAKE UP CALL TO AMERICA!

A) Attendance and having a presence at the opening of the upcoming film “Promised Land” is crucial.  Along with bringing signs, and getting others to attend, we highly suggest you print this editable flyer about “Promised Land” to pass out before or after screenings of the film.  You are welcome to edit the flyer and put your organization’s name and URL in the lower right hand corner of the back page.  Additionally, please enter your local official and their phone number into the editable call field listed on the flyer.

B) Please visit our Facebook event page, invite your friends, and then upload photos to the event page after you participate in flyering actions in front of theaters.  We want to see visuals from opposition from around the country with activists holding signs in front of theaters! 

C) Invite your local press to where you will be present!
